LightSnake USB to XLR Cord Review"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"LightSnake\" alt=\"LightSnake\" src=\"http:\/\/crapmonkey.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/images\/LightSnake.jpg\" align=\"left\" \/>My friend <a title=\"LightSnake\" href=\"http:\/\/drewkeller.vox.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Drew<\/a> loaned me his latest purchase, a <a title=\"LightSnake\" href=\"http:\/\/www.soundtech.com\/lightsnake\/xlr10.asp\" target=\"_blank\">LightSnake<\/a> Luminescent USB to XLR Microphone Cord.\u00a0 I figured that the best way to test it out would be to record a podcast, so that&#8217;s what this <em>Piece of Crap<\/em> is all about.\u00a0 You can&#8217;t get much better than this when it comes to simplicity.\u00a0 <a title=\"Plug-n-Play\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Plug-n-play\" target=\"_blank\">Plug-n-Play<\/a> ensures that it is instantly recognized on the computer and installed so that you are ready to record in a flash.\u00a0 For a podcaster, this is great as it easily lets you plug into your home PC or laptop without additional equipment or even a sound card.\u00a0 If\u00a0the simplicity and sound quality is\u00a0not enough to sway you, perhaps the green glow illuminating from the USB and XLR connectors at either end will provide enough cool factor to win you over.\u00a0 <a title=\"Amazon\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B000H7O9ZI\/ref=s9_asin_title_1\/002-3104917-3667245?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&#038;pf_rd_s=center-1&#038;pf_rd_r=1F7MMV941DF5VP940Y1Y&#038;pf_rd_t=101&#038;pf_rd_p=278240701&#038;pf_rd_i=507846\" target=\"_blank\">At only $40 on Amazon<\/a>, I&#8217;d say this is a worth while addition to the podcasters&#8217;
