On Sunday night, Tesla put on a rock show to remember at the Showbox Sodo in Seattle. The show rocked the venue with all of the enthusiasm and energy that Tesla is known to exhibit. Prior to the show, I sat down with Tesla’s newest member, Dave Rude, to talk about playing with Tesla, fronting the Dave Rude Band, the future of record labels and even beer. Following the interview, we hear a track called Eighteen Eyes from Dave Rude Band’s newest EP. Check out the interview and then go visit Dave on myspace!

hey
I support indie efforts on all fronts and am delighted to find Dave interviewed here. Frank knew he’d found the real thing when he heard him - kudos Tesla; a Sacramento original!!! One of the unique things I have appreciated about Dave, both as artist and as human being, is his honesty and long tall old school musical roots… kudos!! that’s why DRB played my house party!!! real, roots, rock and roll - always gets my ears!!!
cool to hear Dave on your show! I’m an old fan of DRB and the authenticity of Mr. Rude
best,
Paula

Great interview,
I had the honour and great pleasure of Meeting Dave in the U.K lay year on many occasions and actually hang out with him for a beer outside the tour bus lol. Hearing him on this interview brings back those wonderful memories of how friendly and cool he is top hear and he evens sends my kind comments back on Myspace “Not bad for someone who so busy and famous, I mean could you imagine other rocks stars doing this. Can’t wait to see him live with Tesla in the U.K 3 times and meeting Dave with great pleasure once again and not to forget what an amazing contribution he really is to not only with Tesla, but also with his own band. Also i proudly own his E.P, which gets played on my stereo all the time and cant wait for a full album from his band
